If he goes to the Olympics he will be representing Australia. He will be swimming for us not for himself. Violence cannot be tolerated and by allowing him to go we are sending a message that Australia condones violence. Nick has to learn to take responsibility for his actions. Hard lessson for sure, but that's life.

No,

Even though he is remorseful i believe he should not be allowed to compete at the Olympics. He has been charged with assault, did you hear how that guy ended up? broken jaw, broken nose, etc.

Sure he's remorseful now, but only because he wants to go to the Olympics, maybe he should have thought about it before he did it.

If Australia let him continue on to go to the Olympics it just goes to show how low Australia is, and there spirit to win at all costs is definitely "ego-run"

l really think this guy is scary, and what he did to the other guy was just dispicable. He needs anger management, and no he should'nt be allowed to go to the olympic's. He needs to be punished for what he did, and maybe the next 4 years he;ll get help and teach him violence is wrong, and he should have to pay dearly for beating that guy to a pulp. Australia does'nt want someone like him representing us at the olympics.........

yes - he made a stupid mistake when he punched that guy. Young people make mistakes - his was a big one - but if Lay down sally can be considered to represent us then why not.

Let the courts deal with this matter.

NO. Definitely NOT. It is just a shame. He will bring shame to Australia. Australia has plenty of people who are better qualified and better behaved.
