While the 5 rings do represent the 5 continents, the colors do not correspond to a continent. In terms of the colors (the 5 colors of the rings and the white background) the colors were chosen because at least one of those colors appears on every country's flag in the world.

NO, you are wrong take a look at page three of that site it clearly states that it does represent the 5 contenents. "The five rings represent the five continents" "Pierre de Coubertin, the father of the modern Olympic Games, explains the meaning of the flag : “ The Olympic flag has a white background, with five interlaced rings in the centre: blue, yellow, black, green and red . This design is symbolic; it represents the five continents of the world, united by Olympism, while the six colours are those that appear on all the national flags of the world at the present time. ” (1931) Textes choisis, vol. II, p.470." Ok, I was wrong in reading your question. No the colors do not match any specific continent. Blue does not mean Europe or something like that.

"The five rings represent the five continents. They are interlaced to show the universality of Olympism and the meeting of the athletes of the world during the Olympic Games. " That's taken from the website you posted. One color does not represent a specific continent, but the rings do represent the continents that were participating at the games at their inception. Did you read the whole thing? Or are you just one of those people who likes to try and feel better by attempting to prove that you are better/smarter than everyone? Fact is, you proved the opposite here, bud.

The five colors with the white background indicate the nations flags joined together. You can find all the nations flag colors in the rings and white background. I reference a 1913 writing:
Africa, America, Asia, Australia, Europe ... in alphabetical order ...
