I'd like to know if 13 seconds is a good 100m time for a year old?

Well done, 13 secs is a good time. You should be aiming to do it under 12 secs in two years time and then you may have a shot at taking it up.

13 seconds is a good time for 100m you would have been in the top 30 of the uk last year with that time

and all clubs are in need of a sprinter!

it is a decent time , i did the 100m in 11.65 sec at 15 yrs old , if i say so myself i was fast but never followed it through otherwise i believe id be a proffessional sprinter now ! allot of people dont realise that a couple of seconds is a long time , it might not sound it but in race terms it is so i was 1.65 behind pro's and it is a big gap , keep him/her training and a balanced diet and i belive a club will snap him/her up.

Pretty good, yeah. Olympic class athletes get it in 10 seconds or less, so thats what your aiming for.
