at least one does as he is my neighbor and if/when he is home we have a cup out back and chat - not decaf - regular with sugar

Coffee doesn't hamper ones athletic ability.
The caffeine acts a s a stimulant, just like caffeine is Coke or Pepsi. There is little difference, and does not harm or take away from performance.

i would imagine in moderation yes, but remember caffeine also comes with a big letdown and they need to always keep their energy level in order to perfrom at their peak... i'd imagine a cup here or there to help wake up for an early mmorning practice is ok... whos your neighbor, bigwig???
