Who invented or made the olympics?

It says hercules(son of Zeus) found ancient olympics,what does it mean by found?Did he make it or someone else made it?

Pierre de Coubertin was the 2nd President of the International Olympic Committee (IOC), the organization that runs the Olympics. He also created the IOC.

The Olympics is watched worldwide because its a worldwide event. People from different countries/cultures from all around the world are participating. People watch their kids on TV. Some people don't even make it to the Olympics. It a major accomplishment to be in the Olympics.
