In the 2009 Code of points, Dominique's beam routine from the team finals would be worth

The skills and connections are:

Silivas Mount with extra 1/1 turn (C)

Backhandspring (B) + Layout Stepout (C) + Layout Stepout (C) + Layout Stepout (C) +.2

Full turn with leg below horizontal (A)

Split Jump (A) + Jump with 1/2 turn to straddle (I guess that is closest to a leap with 1/4 turn to straddle, so it's a B)

Front tuck to cross stand (D)

Wolf Jump (A) + Flic Flac with 1/4 twist to handstand (C)

Johnson (C)

Round Off (B) + Double Tuck Dismount (D)

For Composition requirements she gets

.5 for 2 dance elements connected

.5 for a turn

.5 for acro series

.5 for acro elements in different directions

.5 for having a D or higher dismount

You count the highest 8 skills, and at least 3 must be dance skills. You cannot count 2 of the same element.

So her top 8 are D, D, C, C, C, C, B, A

A=.1, B=.2, C=.3 etc.

So her total would be

2.3 for her skills, 2.5 for requirements and .2 for connection bonuses, making her routine worth 5. With a 10.0 execution, she would get a 15.

They don't take away any points or give any points for thumbs down. They should cost two points for thumbs down so nobody will be quick to do that.
